Davida Schulman

Davida and I were the two "old" grad students who had the nerve to groan at Harold Gregor's terrible puns in class. Sometimes we even retaliated. Davida already knew had great skill in watercolor painting when we took his class. I remember hearing Harold ask her if she had learned anything new because she knew so much already. Davida and I shared a studio at school and in Chicago after graduation. We were in numerous exhibits and residencies together until her death five years ago.
